Accessibility Statement
We want this site to work for everyone, including people using a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion. This page sets out what we have done, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us when something blocks you.

Our commitment
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion enabled. Accessibility is part of building the site properly, not a pass we do at the end.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA.
How this site is built for access
Some specific decisions worth naming, because they are the ones that usually get skipped:
- Our explanatory diagrams are built from real text rather than exported as images, so every label can be read by a screen reader, selected, translated, and enlarged with the rest of the page.
- Sequences in those diagrams are marked up as ordered lists, so the order is announced rather than only implied by arrows.
- A skip link lets keyboard users jump straight to the main content.
- Focus is always visible, with a separate outline colour on light sections so it never disappears against the background.
- Animation, including the hero video and the earthline motif, is suppressed when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Every image has alternative text, and images that are purely decorative are hidden from screen readers rather than given filler descriptions.
- Pages declare their language, and headings run in order without skipped levels.
Where we know we fall short
We would rather tell you the gaps than claim a clean sheet.
- This site has not yet had an independent accessibility audit. Our checks are our own, so they will have blind spots.
- We have not yet tested with every combination of screen reader and browser. Testing to date has been automated plus keyboard and structural checks.
- Some downloadable documents, including guides published as PDFs, are not yet tagged for accessibility. If you need one in an accessible format, ask us and we will provide it.
- Video on the site is decorative and contains no speech, so it has no captions. If we publish video with narration, it will be captioned.
Why we publish this
We publish this statement voluntarily. The EU Web Accessibility Directive applies to public sector bodies rather than to us, and we do not read the European Accessibility Act as covering a business information site of this kind.
We would rather hold ourselves to the standard anyway. If that assessment changes, we will move to a formal statement and say so here.
Tell us if something does not work
If any part of this site blocks you, we want to know, and we will treat it as a fault rather than a request.
Email info@fe.global and tell us the page and what happened. Describing what you were using helps, but do not worry if you cannot. We will acknowledge within five working days, tell you what we can fix and when, and offer the information another way in the meantime.
Getting information another way
If you need anything on this site in a different format, including large print, plain text, or an accessible document, email info@fe.global and tell us the format that works for you. There is no charge.
