Heavy road freight is hard to decarbonise and slow to electrify, so lower-emissions liquid fuels have a real part to play now. Book and Claim lets a shipper fund a lower-emissions fuel that enters the network where it is available. The shipper then claims the verified reduction against their own freight volume. The attribute is certified, tracked separately, and retired once, so nothing is counted twice.
The process is the one we run in aviation. An audited chain of custody, a registry an auditor can follow, and one claim held by one owner. The reduction is measured on a lifecycle basis, so it stands up to scrutiny.
