SHANNON, Ireland, 15 September 2026. Ireland-based Sustainable Aviation Fuel market ecosystem builder, Future Energy Global (FE Global), has reported major growth in its activity and has announced a series of key appointments to drive its continuing expansion.
Between January and August 2026, Future Energy Global completed transactions with fuel suppliers, airlines and corporates representing 27,272 tonnes of CO₂e abatement. This eight-month figure is already 18% higher than the 22,941 tonnes recorded across the full 2025 calendar year.
As the business grows, it involves a wider set of operational and commercial activities around sustainable fuel, and the company is welcoming several new colleagues on board to contribute to the next phase of its development.
FE Global has named Angela Foster Rice as Chief External Affairs and Sustainability Officer, Diarmuid Hyde as Chief Financial Officer, Thorsten Lange as Chief Procurement Officer, and Ed Dowding as Chief Technology Officer as well as a series of other appointments across technology and information security, procurement, and commercial.
Natasha Mann, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Future Energy Global, said:
“Our mission is to scale the sustainable fuel industry, and we’re succeeding by applying the approach from commercial aircraft leasing. Aircraft lessors are bridges between manufacturers and airlines, buffering the timing and financial risk between the two, and aggregating demand across multiple airlines. That intermediary function has driven enormous growth in the commercial aircraft industry in recent decades. The Sustainable Aviation Fuel market needs the same kind of intermediary if it’s to scale up, and Future Energy Global is that bridge.
The volume is the visible part of our growth. What matters underneath is that we have the experience and resources to deliver it responsibly. Every SAF buyer needs to have total confidence in the credibility of the emissions savings they are claiming. Angela, Diarmuid, Thorsten, Ed, and the whole FE Global team, are bringing the finance, policy, and technology experience required to give buyers and suppliers that confidence.”
